Fattitude Intro And Title

Title Treatment and animation for kickstarter Documentary film Fattitude released May 9th. Fattitude is a documentary that aims to make the general public more aware of the prejudice that fat people experience. Specifically how fat-phobia is perpetrated by the media. I wanted this project to reflect the DIY aesthetic nature of of kickstarters, zines, and demonstrations.  Directors Viridiana Lieberman and Lindsey Averill agreed and I moved forward with a tactile approach that drew on punk and activist visuals. Below is some of my process work and styleframes for the intro.

Ending manifesto animation for the film illustrating the thoughts of one of the women interviewed. Below are my initial styleframes for a pitch. We ended up working with illustrator Valerie Doty and incorporating her lovely drawings in the final product.
